Mondays Set the Tone

There's something about Monday mornings.

A fresh cup of coffee. A clean planner. An inbox that's either completely empty—or completely overwhelming. Mondays always feel like a fresh start to me—a chance to reset, refocus, and build momentum for the week ahead.

Today was one of those Mondays.

My day was filled with Zoom calls, marketing deadlines, planning upcoming events, and thinking through the future of Easton Elle. I've realized that Mondays have become my day to work on the business just as much as in the business. It's when I step back, dream bigger, make plans, and lay the foundation for everything I hope to accomplish in the weeks and months ahead.

Part of today was delegating some of our largest wholesale accounts to field reps I know will take care of them with the same passion and accountability that I would. Letting go of certain responsibilities isn't always easy, but I've learned that growth requires trust. Building a business isn't about doing everything yourself—it's about building a team that allows the vision to become even bigger.

Then, in the middle of my Monday, an email came through.

It was one of those emails that makes you stop for a second and smile. Another step closer to something I've been working toward for a long time.

Actually, "working toward" isn't even the right phrase.

It's something I decided would happen.

Long before there was progress to celebrate, I had already pictured it. I could see it so clearly that it stopped feeling like an "if" and started feeling like a "when." Every meeting, every design, every phone call, every early morning and late night has been another step in that direction.

I believe there's power in setting a vision so clearly that your daily decisions begin to align with it. When you know where you're going, you naturally start making choices that move you closer to that future. That's the mindset I try to bring into every Monday.

Even though every Monday looks a little different, one thing always stays the same: I get ready for the day.

Maybe that sounds silly since so many of my meetings happen over Zoom, but I've learned that how I show up has a direct impact on how I feel. Throwing on a blazer over a simple white T-shirt, adding my favorite bracelet stack, putting on a little makeup, and pouring a large cup of coffee signals to my brain that it's time to get to work.

Those small rituals matter.

They tell my mind, I'm ready.

I've found that when I feel put together, I think more clearly, speak more confidently, and approach challenges with a completely different mindset. It's never really about the jewelry itself—it's about how those little details help me show up as the best version of myself.

So if you're starting your Monday with a full calendar, a long to-do list, or a dream that feels bigger than where you are today, don't underestimate the power of showing up consistently.

Put on the jewelry.

Pour the coffee.

Trust your team.

Keep building.

Because Mondays don't just start the week—they often set the tone for everything that follows. And sometimes, they're the day you realize you're one step closer to the future you've believed in all along.
